Tee Wakącąk Lake – Wisconsin

The Tee Wakącąk Lake, meaning Holy or Sacred Lake, is situated on the ancestral Ho-Chunk land in the southern part of Wisconsin. The lake is a birthing place of sacred portals guarded by many spirit animals . Walking around the lake, you can hear the bear’s roaring, feel the eagle’s watching eye , experience the butterflies’ transformational energy, and sense the panther’s invitation to connect beyond the veil, to name a few . The lake’s organic blueprint is a magical place full of life where different beings live in harmony and continually support one another to grow.

The most powerful protector of the land is the Thunderbird, who appears elegantly in her giant form with a shawl-like fire wing. She watches over the lake, sometimes diving deep inside to get messages from the other world or communicating with the water dragon. Her energy is expansive and full of love. The Ho-chunk honor her presence by building a bird effigy mound on the south shore. This bird mound has a wingspread of over 130 feet, and its body size is over 50 feet. Other clusters of effigy mounds, including panther mounds, bear mounds, lynx mounds, and linear mounds, are on the north shore.

The rocks at the lake are quartize. Being among the oldest exposed rocks in North America, they carry a wealth of information ready to be revealed when one intends to make a connection. Some recommended sites are Balanced Rock, Devil’s Doorway (a wind portal), and an elevated rock formation called Cleopatra’s Needle. Inside the lake, you can find stunning rainbow rocks of various sizes.

After connecting with the elements and the guardians, we assist with removing negative energies caused by wars and black magic in the water and the soil. We then help bring in rainbow light codes and connect with the suns and the moon to restore the crystalline blueprint. The strong presence of the wind goddess balances out all the energies, bringing in a refreshing, renewed transition. It was such an honor to connect with this sacred lake!
