Angkor Wat

Welcoming the energy of 2024 by connecting to the ancient wisdom of Angkor Wat! This masterpiece is a perfect representation of architectural genius, built with love and respect for the ever-expanding awareness of the cosmos.

Angkor Wat and its surrounding landscape are designed to match the shape of the Draco constellation. The primary materials used in its construction are sandstone quarried from Kulen Mountain, located about 80 km northeast of the site. These stones were not merely cut by hand and transported by elephants; rather, they were moved using sophisticated engineering techniques that achieved a high level of precision and symmetry.

Every part of the structure is perfectly aligned with the four sacred directions. In the central tower, there is a square-shaped spot where the four directions intersect, aligning precisely at 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees. The architecture of Angkor Wat and the surrounding structures incorporates the numbers 54 and 108. For instance, there are 108 statues of mythical beings guarding Angkor Thom, with 54 on each side. There are also 54 towers in the nearby Bayon temple (each has four faces, making a total of 216 faces). Everything adds up to number 9.

There is also a chamber of echoes where sound is produced only when you stand with your back against the wall and thump your chest. The way the sound reverberates through the wall is truly amazing. It felt like tapping into the heart connection is the key to accessing the wisdom embedded in this sacred site.

Intricate micro-carvings adorn the walls of the towers, connected galleries, and porticos, depicting Apsaras and Devatas—celestial goddesses dancing with lotus flowers in their hands. Every inch of this structure carries mysteries waiting to be discovered.

Visiting the sacred Kulen Mountain allows me to connect with its pure and majestic energy, along with the spirits of Buddha and Quan Yin. This renewing energy, combined with the presence of the four celestial dragons, powerfully assists in the clearing of the land.
